Silliest Question of the Week

Silliest question I heard twice this week:

nag.iipon ka para kanino?

I mean even death costs a fortune these days. If you want to do something, secure the future, or if something bad happens to you, at least you're responsible enough to be totally self-sufficient.

How do you go about personal projects, short-term to longterm goals without financing? If you want to learn from the the best, read a book, travel, connect to the world, contribute to causes, take a bath, go to work, have a bottle of beer, exercise, dine, gimmicks, whatever it is, it costs something.

When you're sick, when you're caught up with some emergency, or if you lose your job, you need financing.

Wag kang pabigat sa mga kaibigan, kaanak, asawa, syota, o kahit kanino pa man pag minalas ka dito sa Middle East o saan pa man.

In my book, it is simply embarrassing to think your parents sent you to college hoping it will help you take care of your self and others as a full blown responsible adult.

From a single person's point of view, I hope it is clear. We do spend money too, like many responsible married folks. And when I say spend, I mean spending big time! You don't need to look very far to find singles going places and crazy idiotic extravagant vacations, buying brand new SUVs, starter homes, or even a condo with foods, latest gadgets, perfumes, branded clothing, you name it.

In my opinion, only reckless people ask such questions. They are living in denial and are just lazy. Because they don't feel confident and excited about their future, they don't have a reason to build and prepare to receive it. They are those complainers who don't like and respect their selves very much, and they always think someone else is going to be responsible but themselves.

For those loving and enjoying their lives, keep rocking, and by all means get away from these guys.
